Situated in the heart of the Cape's legal and financial district is Five Flies restaurant.

Previously an exclusive club cocooned in white washed walls and colonial dark wood where respectful mutterings soothed the halls and private rooms of this landmark building.

Today the exterior of this national monument remains unchanged, proudly proclaiming a history of significance and positioning. The interior, until its recent renovation reflected the austere atmosphere of its surroundings, but has now been skilfully remodelled to create a dining space that compliments its simple yet racy food.

The interior walls now speak with bolder tones and carefully selected modern art pieces adorn them. The lighting is soft subtle and unobtrusive to your dining experience.
